When we tokenize our funds and put them into DeFi, the main question is usefulness. We want to bring something to market with a better value proposition than you'd have in TradFi, without compromising the investment thesis or the regulatory and investor protections around it

We've managed to deposit them as collateral in lending markets like Morpho, Aave and Kamino. Users on-chain earn the yield and borrow stablecoins against them to leverage up the position. The yield is not tied to anything crypto-denominated, so people can amplify it with leverage, using the stablecoin liquidity that's there in DeFi

Historically, institutions were most concerned about safekeeping. Where are my assets, who controls the keys, how do I move them quickly. Now they care more about capital efficiency. That could mean staking, connecting to structured products or participating in on-chain markets

Once you put assets to work, it becomes much more complex. You need connectivity between custody, staking, reporting and risk management. I think the next generation of infrastructure will be about making assets more productive while keeping institutional-grade controls

No single financial platform can serve every audience in hundreds of countries. Take cross-border payments. Between the US and Europe the volume is large, the infrastructure is mature and larger players handle it directly. Between Mexico and the Philippines there's no existing infrastructure, so startups can act quickly, build local corridors and generate relatively large volumes

Same with on-ramps and off-ramps. Building them market by market means different regulations and high capital expense, and serving only yourself can't justify it. A payment platform spreads that cost across financial institutions worldwide, and that justifies a global network
