From earlier detection and more accurate diagnoses to fewer surgeries and better treatment outcomes, radiology makes a difference at every step of the patient journey. And at the European Society of Radiology (ESR), we work year-round to raise awareness of its impact and advance the field.
Through initiatives such as EU Screening Week, we highlight the life-saving potential of early detection and the importance of screening. From promoting breast, lung and prostate cancer screening to raising awareness of cardiovascular health, we advocate for prevention, timely diagnosis and better patient outcomes. 💙
