X1 EcoChain

Part 5 : pixiechain.x1eco

The minting transaction was successfully confirmed.

pixiechain.x1eco

Pixie had registered the domain, but he wasn't the kind of person who considered a task complete just because he had finished it.

So, he started investigating.

He opened the official X1 Domains website to find out exactly what the domain was for and what it offered users.

The idea was simple:
Instead of sharing a long wallet address on the X1 network, users could use a more readable and recognizable name.

It seemed like a practical idea, but its real value would depend on user adoption and how widely it was used across X1's services and applications.

Pixie knew better than to confuse convenience with security. Having a readable name didn't eliminate the need to carefully verify the recipient's address before making a transaction.

What do you think?
Can readable wallet names make blockchain interactions easier and make the experience more accessible to a wider range of users?

Part 4: Nothing Is Certain

X1 Ecochain

It had been a few days since Pixie and Nik had last spoken, and he was more or less busy with the tasks of the x1-ecochain project.

He had completed a few tasks. He had made a few transactions. He had even checked his score.

But things were starting to get annoying. Some transactions were left unfinished. Some pages were loading slowly. And most importantly, until the main network was launched, he still didn’t know how much these points he was collecting were really worth.

On the morning of the fourth day, Pixie drank his coffee and picked up the phone to call Arkada Daily.

Nik replied, “Arkada Daily, how can I help you?”

Pixie said, “Hi Nik, I’m Captain Pixie. How are you? I’ve been working hard on the x1 testnet for a few days now. I have a few more questions. Can you help me?

Nik:
Hi Captain. I'm great. Ask your questions.

Pixie:
First, some transactions and tasks are sometimes slow or fail. Is this normal?

Nik:
The testnet is still under development. Sometimes there are slowdowns or errors. The team is working on it, but it's not completely stable yet.

Pixie:
The second question is more important. How much are these points and multi-chain points really worth until the mainnet? Maybe they will set hard conditions later?

Nik paused:
The final details of the airdrop have not been announced yet. Actual activity is important, but there is no 100% guarantee until the mainnet. This is the risk of all testnets.

Pixie:
And the last question... most of the activity is done through Arkada. If the campaign ends, how will the average user continue?

@0xMR_NIK :
Arkada is one of the main channels, but the direct testnet is also open and can be done directly through the project site. But if you do it through Arkada, you also have a chance to win Arkada's own prizes. It's your decision. Arkada, or directly with the project.

Pixie was silent for a few seconds, then said:

I understand. Thank you, Nik. If I have any more questions, I'll call you .

For a few moments he just stared at his laptop screen. He felt like he might just be wasting his time, like so many previous testnets. Nothing was certain.

With less enthusiasm, he re-entered the testnet and started working.

As he was busy, a new notification suddenly appeared on the screen:

New task: Register your .x1eco domain

Pixie clicked on the task and entered the domain page and saw that registering a domain costs money!

He paused for a few seconds, then said to himself,

It costs money... I'm not sure if this project will be finished yet. Maybe I won't register it for now.

Then he thought for a moment and continued,

But if the mainnet is really going to come, it wouldn't hurt to have a short domain. I'll just try one for now. He chose a simple domain and registered it carefully.

Then he whispered,

I'll just try it for now... let's see if it's worth it.

Pixie has made up his mind, but he's not sure yet.

What did you do?

Did you register the .x1eco domain or are you still waiting for the project to become clearer?

ASTAR NETWORK

Part 13 : The Sign

Pixie took one last look at the Portal screen. He pulled his notebook out of his coat pocket and wrote:

ASTAR PORTAL

Assets
Bridge
Stake
Governance

A way to manage assets and engage with the Astar ecosystem.

He closed the notebook and walked out through the Portal door.

He headed for the elevator - but a signboard near it caught his eye.

ASTAR STACK
ASTAR FI

Pixie stopped for a moment. He changed course and turned toward the corridor.

At the end of the corridor, the guide sign showed the name Astar Fi with three words beneath it:

SAVE · EARN · INVEST

Pixie opened his notebook, jotted down the three words and murmured under his breath:

Three different paths… but what exactly do they do? I have to go see for myself.

He closed the notebook and stepped into the room.

It seemed his exploration of Astar was far from over.

Which section will you try first: Save, Earn or Invest?

I've put the link below this post.

Astar Stack is more than just @Astar_Fi ... there are other parts Pixie hasn't seen yet.

ASTAR NETWORK

Part 12: The Choice

Pixie returned to the Stake section.

He looked through the list of projects. This time, he wasn't just looking for the reward rate. He wanted to understand what impact his choice would have.

With dApp Staking, he could stake his ASTR on a project to support it and, in return, earn staking rewards.

But the projects were also competing for a share of the rewards.

The system had room for up to 16 projects to qualify for rewards: six slots in Tier 2 and ten in Tier 3.

Of the dApp reward pool, 70% was allocated to Tier 2 and 30% to Tier 3. A project's rank within its tier also affected its share of the rewards.

Pixie noticed something even more important: his choice of project wouldn't change his own reward rate. All stakers had the same reward rate, determined by the network's overall participation. However, if a project failed to meet the required threshold, it wouldn't receive project-level rewards.

So his choice wasn't just about his own rewards. He was deciding which builders in the ecosystem to support.

After reviewing the projects, he made his choice and staked his ASTR.

Well, Pixie has made his choice. What about you? If you've participated in dApp Staking, which project did you choose, and why?

The Unwritten Stories

Chapter 14 - Unwritten Roles

Bobby, Leo, and Felix, members of the Sip Haven music band, were standing outside the house, talking among themselves.

When they saw Pixie, Bobby stepped forward and said:
Hello, Captain! We were hoping to see you. Mrs. Hudson told us you weren't home, so we decided to wait.

Pixie replied:
Hello, gentlemen. Is something wrong?

Felix answered:
We'd like to discuss something with you.

Pixie opened the door and invited them inside.

Mrs. Hudson came out of the kitchen, welcomed the guests, and showed them to the Captain's study.

Pixie placed the cups of tea on the table and said:
Well, tell me. What brings you here?

Bobby paused for a moment before speaking.
Well, we've recently been working on a new music album. A few days ago, we read an article about a technology-based approach to recording and managing agreements related to creative works.

Leo continued:
Before reading that article, we'd never really thought about some of these issues because of how complicated the legal and registration processes seemed. We always assumed that when several people create music together, everything between them is clear.

Felix said:
But now it seems there might be a way to make things simpler. That's why we came to ask for your opinion. We know you have experience in this field.

Pixie thought for a moment and asked:
Do you mean Elias Vane's article?

Felix looked surprised.
Yes! You've read it too?

Pixie replied:
Yes, I'm familiar with its subject. It seems the article has raised some new questions for you.

Leo nodded.
Exactly. We want to understand how several people creating something together can make their roles, rights, and agreements clear and traceable from the very beginning.

Pixie picked up his notebook and opened it to a fresh page.

Then let's start right here. First, tell me what role each of you plays in creating this album!

The Unwritten Stories

Chapter 13 - Maybe Neither

As the cafe owner straightened the table, he said:

This painting was part of the city’s beautification project. The municipality wanted to bring this old wall to life a little. It wasn’t meant to carry any particular message.

Pixie asked, So they just wanted to make this place look nicer?

cafe owner said:

As far as I know, yes. Of course, people have their own interpretations. Some say the empty chair feels sad, while others feel happy when they see it. The same wall means something different to everyone.

Pixie said, Interesting… What the creator wants to say isn’t always what others see.

It was past noon. Pixie said goodbye to the cafe owner and headed home.

When he neared his house, several people were standing by the entrance.

It looked like the members of the Sip Haven band were waiting for him!

One of them stepped forward.

Hello, Captain. We were hoping we could talk to you.

Pixie glanced at the band members, then at the door to his house.

It seemed his lunch and rest would have to wait a little longer.

What if a story could grow beyond its original form - and its creators and fans could grow with it?

A character might be born in a story, find its way into games and animation, and eventually become part of a much larger community.

But how can we share the future value of these creations in meaningful ways with both their creators and the fans who support them?

The new Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program, launched by Sony Group, aims to support builders and creators developing new entertainment experiences and Tokenized IP on @Soneium .

Selected projects may gain access to opportunities such as co-creation with Sony Group companies, business development and marketing support, and fundraising opportunities.

Through the eyes of a curious story investigator, this is about more than bringing entertainment onchain. It’s about exploring new ways for creative works and the communities around them to grow together.

I'm curious to see what new stories this journey will bring.
