Our founders lost at chess in Cannes. They insist it was on purpose.

At the invite-only Selini Summit, they sat down across the board from Jordi Alexander. The way they tell it, they threw the game so we could get Jordi to Abu Dhabi. They have also been practising at least three games a day ever since. We're not saying the two facts are connected. We're saying their version has holes in it.

Either way, it worked. And word is that Selini is bringing a chess moment of its own to the Louvre Abu Dhabi. More on that soon.

But first, the man of the hour.

You might know him from his game theory threads on X, or from the Steady Lads podcast. Jordi Alexander @gametheorizing, Founder and CEO of Selini Capital @SeliniCapital, is confirmed for Proof of Talk Abu Dhabi.

He runs a digital asset trading and investing firm and invests as an angel across frontier technologies. At the Louvre Abu Dhabi he's taking on one of the harder questions on the board: the tokenization of AI investments. Capital is pouring into AI. The rails to represent, fund and trade that value onchain are being built right now, by people who have to be right about both halves of the sentence.

He'll be with us for both days. Whether our founders get their rematch is another question.
