Congressman Kevin Hern

Thank you to Tulsa Tech for hosting me at their Riverside Campus, where I had the opportunity to connect with students and instructors and learn more about their Career and Technical Education programs.

CTE is critical to the future development of our nation, and Tulsa Tech does great work in providing the education and certifications necessary to ensure career success across our communities.

It was great to join the Jenks Chamber of Commerce for their October luncheon last week.

Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to hear directly from the people who work every day to strengthen our local economies and create opportunities for Oklahomans.

I recently had the opportunity to join the Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce for their October Luncheon.

It’s always a pleasure to connect with local business owners, hear their thoughts and perspectives, and discuss issues affecting our business community.

Three years ago, on October 7, Hamas terrorists launched a brutal attack on Israel, torturing and murdering 1,200 innocent civilians and taking hundreds more hostage.

Today, we remember every life stolen, pray for the victims and their families, and reaffirm our commitment to stand against antisemitism and ensure the horrors that occurred on October 7th never happen again.

Thank you to the team at Groendyke for showing me around their Tulsa terminal and for a productive discussion about the challenges facing the trucking industry.

Trucking is the backbone of our supply chain, and Groendyke’s strong commitment to safety helps keep their drivers and everyone on Oklahoma’s roads protected while keeping our economy moving.
