Trump made a deal with a war criminal.

He lifted sanctions on russian diesel. Putin will ship 4.8 million tons to American and global markets – roughly 4.5 billion dollars. That buys about 90,000 Shahed drones, or 1,800 Iskander missiles. Thousands of Ukrainians will die.

Three weeks ago he signed a sanctions law. Yesterday he removed sanctions on russia and opened a market for russian oil.

To the Ukrainian people: I am sorry. I am ashamed of our president, and of the Americans who put him in office. My country is now helping russia earn money while russia kills you.

Two years ago I wrote that Trump would cut aid, block NATO, and push Ukraine to surrender territory. I was right. But I did not expect him to go so far as to support russia.

And to those who voted for him and now see what he is: your silence is a choice. A morally bankrupt choice.

Tragic Mass Shooting in Poland

A devastating mass shooting occurred in Kraków’s historic Main Market Square on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The attacker, heavily armed and wearing military gear, opened fire on pedestrians from a vehicle, killing six people and injuring 15 others. Prior to the shooting, a 24-year-old Michał Oksiński murdered his parents and sister at their family home. He was shot by responding officers and remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Who was the attacker?

Michał Oksiński was a far-right ultra-nationalistic extremist. Former classmates describe him as a quiet and socially isolated individual, with a history of unsettling behavior and a strong obsession with firearms.

Despite his deeply radicalized, ultranationalistic, and far-right views, Oksiński’s social media profiles featured pro-communist imagery and anti-Catholic rhetoric.

Unfortunately, it is a common pattern in these tragedies: a young, deeply disturbed person, radicalized by far-right or far-left ideology.

Why did Republicans lose the 2026 midterm elections so badly?

There are seven major reasons: rising prices, the war with Iran, unpopular policies, declining support among key voting groups, failed gerrymandering efforts, and the transformation of the Republican Party into MAGA.

But these explanations share one common denominator: Donald J. Trump.

In my latest Substack article, I examine the election results through the lens of economics, political incentives, and voter behavior.

The Republican Party has become so dependent on Trump that his political liabilities have become the party’s liabilities.

Why did Trump offer the president of the UFC the position of his chief spokesperson? You won’t believe the explanation.

Dana White is not a good communicator, he frequently “melts down” under scrutiny, and he knows nothing about real politics.

Then why did Trump offer him this position?

Apparently, Trump was advised to appoint Dana White as his new White House press secretary. And Trump immediately assumed the recommendation referred to his UFC buddy.

But the recommended Dana White was actually Dana W. White. She served in the Trump administration as the chief spokesperson for the Department of Defense. She is a very good communicator, has a pleasant demeanor, and would help Trump mend some of his grievances with minorities.

Of course, when Dana W. White was recommended, Trump probably didn’t even know who she was and automatically assumed they meant Dana White.

I hope we don’t start another war because Trump makes a similar mistake by mixing up Iran with Iraq or North Korea with South Korea.
