With the crushing amount of car traffic that Cape Cod sees, it begs the question why we haven’t revived Amtrak’s previous Cape Codder service? There are so many license plates from NY and NJ, so why not enable them to take the train instead?

If you want to massively boost the Massachusetts economy, then you’re also in favor of building the North-South Rail Link.

The @MBTA_CR typically moves 10,000 people a day, or 300,000 a month, on the Newburyport/Rockport Line.

This October, with extra trains & capacity, it moved nearly 600,000 people to Salem, including 50,000+ on Halloween.

That’s 2x monthly ridership & 5x normal daily capacity!
