Sacramento State

November is Native American Heritage Month. 💛

At Sacramento State, we acknowledge, with respect, the land our campus is on today was, and continues to be, the homelands of the Indigenous people of this area, the Nísem Péwinan, Nisenan, and Miwok. We honor their sovereignty and reaffirm our commitment to building meaningful relationships with Native nations and communities.

We celebrate Native voices, honor the past and recognize the continued strength and contributions of Indigenous communities.

Now playing on Hwy 50: Hornets WIN!

@SacHornetsFB defeats Kent State (31-10)! 🐝🏈

At Sacramento State, we are proud to honor the history, culture and contributions of our Filipino American community. 🇵🇭🐝

As an Asian American, Native American and Pacific Islander-Serving Institution (AANAPISI), the University is committed to recognizing and celebrating the diverse communities that contribute to the strength and vibrancy of our campus.

Filipino students represent the largest Asian student demographic and their presence at Sacramento State is strongly evident through student organizations, cultural programming, faculty and staff leadership, and community engagement. 🙌
