A new storage server version has been released addressing issues with Group config messages.

All Session Node operators are encouraged to update their node(s) to support these improvements to Session.

As usual, updates are available from our APT repository (deb.oxen.io).

Hello and happy new year to all the Session Node ops!

The recommended traffic requirement for Session Nodes has been increased to 10-20 TB per month (or more).

This has increased from the previous recommendation of 1 TB (or more) as nodes consistently utilizing 2+ TB per month, and this is likely to increase as the number of Session users continues to increase.

The challengers will be defeated. 2026 will be the year of privacy.

Hello node operators!

Session Router 1.0.2 and Storage Server 2.11.2 are now live.

For those already running 11.6.0, you can upgrade as per usual.

While this is optional, operators who would like to continue helping to test out Session Router are encouraged to upgrade 🌞

Note: there is an additional step to upgrade to 11.6.0 for multi-sn script users
