Most parents have never heard of sadistic sextortion. Predators are counting on that.

This isn’t about money. The people behind it want to see a child suffer.

They find kids on gaming platforms, social media, and chat apps.

84% of victims are girls. Most are 14 to 17. Some are younger than 10.

Here’s what you can do to prevent this from happening to your child:
→ Know who your child is talking to online.
→ Ask about their games and apps, and keep asking.
→ Tell them: “No one ever gets to tell you to hurt yourself. If anyone does, come to me. No matter what.”

If it happens, have them stop responding and don’t comply with anything else.

Protecting your child starts with one conversation. Get the tools to have it at timtebowfoundation.org/whileyousleep

Most parents have never heard of this crime, but it’s affecting teenage boys in devastating ways.

Financially motivated sextortion is one of the fastest-growing online crimes, and scammers are targeting teens directly. What starts as an innocent message can escalate into a life-threatening crisis in less than 24 hours.

On average, a case of financially motivated sextortion is reported every 11 minutes in the United States.

It's easy to think, "It won't happen to my kid." But many of these victims are the ones with the most going for them, like a scholarship, a starting spot...something to lose.

But you can fight back. Start the conversation with your child tonight.

Visit timtebowfoundation.org/whileyousleep to get the tools you need to protect your family from financially motivated sextortion.

1 in 5 teens say they’ve experienced sextortion.
Some victims were 12 or younger when it first happened.
And 1 in 6 never told anyone.

It starts when a predator asks for one picture. Then he turns on her: “Send me more, or everyone sees this.”

It’s called sexually motivated sextortion, and it has historically targeted teenage girls most.

Many kids stay quiet because they’re afraid of what you’ll think, and some believe it’s their fault. It isn’t, and she needs to hear that from you before it ever happens.

He’s counting on her silence. Be the one she tells.

Over 275 boys and girls have been reunited with their families!

In Ethiopia, many children leave home for the nearest big city chasing a better life — the hope of an education or a job as a way to send income back to the families they love. But too often, children are lured away from their homes on false promises and instead find themselves in life-threatening circumstances.

Some end up trapped as home servants, married off very young, forced into physical labor, or caught in cycles of abuse, and for some, the road leads to trafficking. Many never find their way back to their families and are left unprotected, living on the streets.

Our ministry partner, All God's Children International, through the AGCI & TTF House of Hope, works to combat these dangers by providing trauma-informed care in a home where these children can feel safe, seen, and loved. The team is equipped to identify families of these young, missing children and works to reunify them whenever it's safe and possible.

Because of you, more boys and girls are finding their way home — reminded that they are known, loved, and treasured as God's image-beings.
