On stage, Jared Jiang (General Manager of Financial Service Industry at Tencent Cloud HK & Macau) discussed transitioning digital banking channels from AI-assisted to AI-native, while Lorence Liao (Head of International AI Architecture at Tencent Cloud) shared insights on controlling token runaway and managing capital risk for enterprise AI agents.

Tencent WeTech Academy partnered with the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR to launch the "AI for All" initiative earlier. More than just a launch, it was an opportunity to listen.

Teachers shared everyday challenges and bright ideas for their students. With WorkBuddy, a single click turns an initial prompt into tailored, school-based learning materials.

A tool is only as good as the confidence of the person using it. The new course by Tencent Cloud Training and Certification and Hong Kong Education City empowers teachers to streamline tasks from lesson preparation to admininistrative work.

The course covers:
🤖 Understand AI fundamentals and explore Generative AI
🏫 Apply AI technology in practical teaching scenarios
🔒 Navigate data security and responsible AI use

The goal isn't just digital transformation. It's giving teachers back their time—time to understand students, spark curiosity, and build the connections that matter most in education.

Co-hosted by Tencent Cloud and @AISingapore (AISG), the AI CAN DO IT Hackathon Singapore 2026 brought together developers, students, industry professionals, and AI enthusiasts to tackle real-world industry challenges through AI-powered innovation. With over 150 project submissions and nearly 400 participants across five industry tracks, the journey culminated in an exciting Demo Day & Award Ceremony on 3 November 2026, held alongside Tencent Cloud Day Singapore 2026! 🎯
