This definitely doesn’t get preached anymore. For some reason we love players that throw hard and have no clue where it’s going. The amount of walks you see today is ridiculous. And it doesn’t matter if a player throws hard today, because they are scared to challenge anyone with their FB. The last thing, what good is throwing hard if you can’t last more than 3 innings. Today, you are luck if you’re starter goes 4 innings.
