Stars have always been there ✨
We just needed the instruments to read them 🔭

Docs and endpoints are built for humans.
agents can't read them.

So we built the instrument that translates.

Gecko-surf: point an agent at any API, and it finds the right call, makes it correctly the first time, and runs.

No client to write. no guessing.

v0.1.1 live on Solana x402 mainnet. 343 tests passing.

The web wasn't built for agents. We are 🦎💙

Anything in an agent's context can end up in a request. The default should introduce the tool, not the person.

When Gecko calls a source, it says it's Gecko, with our website. Your sign-in email stays with your account.

When a site does need a contact, like the SEC, the agent should ask once which address to send. A role address like bots@company.com beats a person's inbox. Then it keeps that answer as the rule for that site.

What we keep: geckovision.tech/privacy
www.geckovision.tech Stay in control of every fact Gecko finds the facts your agent needs. You see each source and approve each payment, and you don't pay for answers you didn't get.

this week's big story on hacker news (HN, Y Combinator's tech forum): a coding agent sent people's email addresses to websites.

not a hack. a real rule asked it to say who was calling, and it answered honestly 🧵
