VMI’s Day of Giving is just one month away! Mark your calendars for Thursday, Nov. 12, and get ready to make a difference for VMI.

The Class Participation and Academic Challenges are back! We’ve also got a few special thank-yous in store for those who give this year—stay tuned!

The VMI Foundation celebrated its annual Institute Society Dinner this evening at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Each year, this event honors leadership-level donors and recognizes their impact on the success of the Institute.

$25,000 is up for grabs! Who will take home the prize?

On VMI’s Day of Giving, join in the competition and show your support for the department of your choice through the Academic Challenge.

Earlier this year, T.J. Johnson ’28 had entered the transfer portal and he could see a bright future ahead, one smoothed by large sums of money at an SEC or ACC school.

In the end, he called Andrew Wilson, VMI basketball head coach, to say that he’d decided to stay at VMI.

“It’s just a college…”

At @VMI1839, nothing could be further from the truth.
