Left handed hit-tool, speed and developing power. Compete factor being off the charts is an added bonus to a profile that has a lot to like already.

Big senior season loading for Rocco

Rocco Bucci, OF/LHP (Olentangy HS)

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: OF Rocco Bucci, Olentangy (Virginia Tech) rounds out the ten at No. 10 on the strength of a plus hit tool and plus speed. He controls the strike zone, puts the barrel on the ball from the left side and turns singles into doubles on the bases, and the same speed makes him a legitimate center fielder with range to both gaps and an arm that plays.

Some good uncommitted talent on this list!

‘27 OF Louie Santangelo (OlentangyLiberty) had video game numbers to start the ‘26 spring. A season-ending injury kept him off some radars.

Whoever gets him is getting a potential middle-of-the-order LH run-producer that has enough speed to add value on the bases as well.

Murph has been a steady riser year after year and should be fun to watch this spring, a lot to like about the profile.

9+ K/BB last spring w/ 100+ K’s in a big-school conference. Slider at 79-82 (2700+) is a coffin nail at the HS level. Frame has a ton of room still. Very high ceiling.

Ryan Murphy, RHP (Oak Hills HS)

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: The righty jumps two spots to No. 3 and is the only move inside the top five. The 12-0, 1.05 ERA spring put him on the map, but the ranking is about what he is becoming, not what he did. A long, lean frame with as much physical projection as any arm in Ohio, a slider that is already the most advanced secondary pitch in the class, and the pitchability to put all of it where he wants. The velocity has climbed every time we have seen him, and the combination of projection, feel and a rising fastball has put him squarely in draft conversations.
