Hospitals in Gauteng are experiencing severe #watershortages! Patients and #heathcare workers have resorted to bringing their own water as some sections in the hospitals are without running water. This poses as a risk for infection as basic hygiene is compromised. Last year, doctors at Helen Joseph and Rahima Moosa hospital were asked to bring their own water to flush toilets and wash their hands - yet this year the water infrastructure has not been resolved.
