X-torial: Cleaning up the misinformation about @JoeBiden and #ProstateCancer that I am reading everywhere.

The purpose of this is to provide education from someone who treats and studies PCa for a living, lead the USA @NCCN PCa guidelines, hold leadership in @NRGonc @theNCI @US_FDA and dedicated my career to help men and their families suffering from PCa

Disagree. During poster session it was packed house with way more attendees than normal.

Pros/cons but @NehaVapiwala did a good job.

Importantly this is modern data that with a spacer gel and SBRT at 2 years 80% of men remain potent.

This is in a prospective RCT with patient reported outcomes.

Disagreement isn’t disrespect, and different communication styles aren’t a crisis. If the people actually talking are fine, the audience can relax. Not every conversation needs a referee. Sometimes the real problem isn’t what was said…it’s the person determined to be offended by it.

Not disagreeing but during the 2:15pm poster session it was packed house. Pros/cons to both for sure.

We all need neurolink and instantly absorb all the posters 🤓

@ASTRO_org Not trying to be controversial or contrarian, but I think the decision to move from an actual, interactive poster session to digital posters has missed the mark. #ASTRO26

Attendance is down.
Exchange of ideas is down.
And most importantly, opportunities for trainees to interact with investigators and others in the field are down.

Poster sessions have always been about far more than displaying data—they create conversations, connections, mentorship, and collaborations, especially for our trainees.

It’s not too late to fix this. Let’s bring back meaningful, in-person poster interaction.
