🫀 Advancing Cardiovascular Imaging in MINOCA: Your Voice Matters!

The EACVI Scientific Initiatives Committee is conducting an important survey exploring the real-world utilisation of advanced cardiovascular imaging in patients with suspected myocardial infarction with non-obstructive coronary arteries.

The survey aims to:

🔹 Understand current clinical practice and imaging pathways.

🔹 Identify barriers to accessing advanced invasive and non-invasive imaging.

🔹 Assess awareness and adherence to clinical guidelines.

🔹 Explore how advanced imaging influences diagnostic decisions and patient management.

📋 It takes less than 8 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous.

I encourage colleagues working in cardiovascular medicine and imaging to participate and contribute to improving diagnostic pathways and patient care.

🇹🇷❤️ What a wonderful experience at the 42nd Turkish Cardiology Congress @TKDResmi!

A record-breaking congress with over 2,500 participants, inspiring scientific discussions, fantastic engagement and the exceptional warmth of our Turkish colleagues! A real pleasure for the EACVI to be part of such a successful meeting!

Our joint EACVI–Turkish Society of Cardiology session on tricuspid regurgitation generated great enthusiasm and lively discussions!

@denisamuraru, EACVI President-Elect, shared her expertise on “Multimodality Imaging of Tricuspid Regurgitation: From Morphology to Quantification.” Prof @leylaelifsade gave an excellent presentation on “Tricuspid Regurgitation: Choosing the Right Treatment at the Right Time,” bringing an important clinical perspective, while I presented “Transcatheter Tricuspid Intervention: Patient Selection, Procedural Strategy and Imaging Guidance.”

What impressed me most was the tremendous interest in multimodality imaging integration to improve diagnosis and guide patient management. So many stimulating questions about resolving discordances between measurements from different imaging modalities and how artificial intelligence will transform cardiovascular imaging. Such curiosity and enthusiasm for the future of our field!

☕ One of my favourite moments was our coffee break with the young cardiovascular community! Such a warm, enthusiastic and curious group! We exchanged thoughts on engaging the next generation, the importance of mentorship and networking, and choosing a career in cardiovascular imaging.

These conversations always mean so much to me. Listening to young colleagues, hearing their aspirations and sharing experiences reminds me how even a simple conversation over coffee can inspire, encourage and open new doors. ❤️

🤝 It was also a pleasure to meet with @drozgeozden, Head of the Turkish Working Group on #CVImaging, to explore exciting opportunities for future collaboration. Looking forward to transforming our ideas into projects!

❤️ Beyond the excellent science, what I will remember most are the people — the genuine smiles, the friendships and the feeling of being among colleagues who share the same passion.

A heartfelt thank you to the Turkish Society of Cardiology and all our Turkish colleagues for making us feel so welcome!
