Florida Department of Education

NUMBER ONE IN EDUCATION FREEDOM.

For the 5th STRAIGHT YEAR, @Heritage has ranked the Free State of Florida as the top state for education freedom in the country.

We will continue leading on parents' rights, school choice, and academic integrity in our schools.

The Department of Education is pursuing disciplinary action against this teacher for discriminating against a student over his political views.

This type of behavior is a violation of state law—and will NOT be tolerated in our schools.

In the Free State of Florida, we will ensure students know the truth about the devastating ideology of communism—and foster an appreciation for the American Way of Life.

On Victims of Communism Day, we recognize the more than 100 million people who lost their lives at the hands of communists.

Under the leadership of @GovRonDeSantis, we have ensured Florida students learn the truth about the devastating ideology of communism and the immense human suffering it has caused around the world.

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a stronger appreciation for the freedoms, opportunities, and constitutional protections that define our American way of life.

Under the leadership of Commissioner @HenmackIII, we will continue to expand education freedom and build on the progress we’ve made in growing the skilled workforce of the future.

The future is bright in the Free State of Florida!
