ZEUS at #ScientificSessions26: monthly ziltivekimab cut free IL-6 by 76% and hs-CRP by 64% in 6,376 patients with ASCVD + CKD.

3-point MACE: 17.6% vs 17.7% (HR 0.99).

Serious infections: 20.4% vs 17.9%.

Hitting the target didn't lower events. The point is neutral trials teach as much as positive ones so the question now is which patients, which target, and when.

Of course, Inflammation is still a valid target. ZEUS tells us where it isn't enough on its own.
