Origins Network is excited to announce we have raised $8M from @animocabrands, @tbvxyz
, @CandaqCom, @castrumistanbul, and @CoinvestorV, alongside family offices and angel investors.

With a focus on verifiable compute, we continue building the infrastructure layer for an AI native future, where compute, data, and execution are transparent and verifiable, further strengthened by the support of strategic partners @awscloud and @tencentcloud.

In the next phase, we will accelerate core infrastructure upgrades, expand decentralized compute capacity, and deepen AI integration across the network.

More stablecoins doesn't automatically mean more payments.

Asset count and market cap tell us about supply. They don't tell us whether people or agents are repeatedly paying for useful services.

For agent payments, complete purchases and repeat demand are the metrics worth following.

Stablecoin count is up 16% in 2026 as market cap stalls

The same happened in 2022–23, and market cap then grew from $118B to $310B by May 2026

The pattern: new stablecoins come onchain, and the growth follows

Checking AI work takes compute. That cost matters to the network and to the node earning from each task.

Origins' reputation design checks new nodes more frequently. A consistent record of valid work reduces that frequency, letting nodes retain more of their earnings.

Malicious work, once confirmed, means losing the period's rewards and resetting reputation to zero.

Reputation isn't just a score. It changes the economics of participating.

People will trust an AI answer even when they shouldn't.

The same risk applies when an agent can spend money or call contracts.

Spending rules and allowed contracts, enforced onchain, hold whether or not the agent is careful.

Trial attorney Alex Spiro has represented Elon, Jay-Z, MrBeast, and Kim Kardashian.

We asked if AI is turning his clients into armchair lawyers.

He says trusting yourself over an expert is a human problem Socrates identified 2,400 years ago:

"I represent almost exclusively clients that think that they know more about the law. It is my specialty."

"I think that the old adage at Goldman Sachs was you shouldn't be picking your own stocks. Well, you shouldn't be picking your own legal arguments and picking your own medical procedures."

"Since the time of Socrates, we have learned that we are not great advocates for ourselves, that we ought to rely on somebody that has some emotional independence from us, that can use judgment, that can make the arguments the way they ought to be made, because we can be myopic."

"You shouldn't be picking your own legal arguments and picking your own medical procedures."

"I have said to many, many clients... if they want to represent themselves, I'll just sit here and watch. They can give the opening argument. That usually shuts them up pretty quickly."

More published bugs doesn't mean every one is used in an attack.

Checking AI work has a similar problem: the same model on different GPUs gives slightly different outputs.

So checks have to be statistical, so honest work isn't flagged

Bugs are piling up faster than attackers can use them

Published vulnerabilities grew more than 3x since 2017, and confirmed exploits in the wild stayed under 900 a year
