Keep wearing the colors.

Keep telling the stories.

Keep showing the NBA what Sonics basketball means to Seattle.

Happy birthday to James Naismith, the man who put a peach basket on a wall and unknowingly set the stage for Shawn Kemp to punish rims.

The SuperSonics family mourns the loss of Barry Clemens.

He spent three seasons in Seattle, helping shape the early years of SuperSonics basketball.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and those closest to him.

The NBA mourns the passing of Barry Clemens (1943-2026). The 19th overall pick in the 1965 NBA Draft, Barry played 11 NBA seasons with the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers. We extend our deepest condolences to the Clemens family.
