I missed this last year. Glad I got to see it. Nice repost.

I was way on board with the KP move
Completely understood the KP trade, it was a swing on a player that had an unreal skillset that fit with Luka on paper.View quoted post on X
Unfortunately, that move put the Mavs behind the 8 ball with their build around Luka. It wasn’t as bad as letting Brunson go for free, but it was bad
There was a lot of hope initially with the Luka KP duo. The Bubble was the peak sadly.
If you told Mavs fans 7 years ago, Luka would be a Laker and KP would be retired, mass panic and chaos would ensue
Fortunately, there’s fresh hope for Mavs fans in the form of their 19 year old
I read this as he’s over-extended on oil wells so he can’t afford a premium coach. What a vulnerable admission. Or does it sound different when you hear him say it? Maybe I’m wrong.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on the criticism of him not paying top dollar for coaches: “I drill wells. I have five wells going right now that cost more than any coach.”View quoted post on X
Luka’s shot was obviously incredible and not unexpected since we’ve seen him deliver the surreal so frequently, but my favorite part is how he uses Kessler to get a clean look from 60+ 🤣
If they had early voting in the MVP this year’s race would be over. What a start for Luka and the Lakers at 8-2.
This year in the NBA is going to be amazing. I’m as charged up as I’ve ever been.
