Newsletters are awesome. I read a lot of them. @genmon writes a legendary one. Still one of the best ways to build a community. So we’ve started one @inanimate_tech called Lab Notes.

🧪 Lab Notes is a record of our work as we build and ship Inanimate. It’s an update on what we are working on, plus what influences, informs, and inspires us.

We’re starting off with a classic format. A done list + likes and links.

Come with us, as we build a British Sony for the AI Era!

When we started building WORKS we said we’d never build a device with moving parts. Then we built Tempo.

Tempo is an excitable timer that keeps track of anything. It's hands are controlled by an agent. Two weeks from launch, the hands keep jamming.

Can we fix it in time?

WORKS are @inanimate_tech limited release of promptable products - personal AI devices that do what you mean.

Join the waitlist at inanimate.tech to be first to hear when orders go live later this month.

WORKS waitlist open. Public launch and orders live in two weeks.

Two weeks until @inanimate_tech WORKS launch!

The waitlist is live, and we're gearing up for our Preview Party, when we show all five promptable products to the world.

Plus:
→ Near-instant device activation live
→ Voice reliability dialled in
→ Preloads taking shape
→ New site/store incoming
→ Eight weeks of our video diary "WORKS in Progress"
→ Mechanical flaws, licensing headaches, and other production fun
