I believe there’s going to be four main categories of software moving forward:

- Commercial software
- Boutique software
- Personal software
- Disposable software

Disposable is a sustainable way of executing a use case without the need to maintain it.

The concept of a disposable object is interesting and can be a great design (if done right). There are disposable cameras, contact lenses, and many others. In fact, the sourdough clam chowder bowl and tostada shell are two of the best examples of great disposable design. What about software that destroys itself when a certain job is done? I see in the future there are certain types of software created by people (or an AI) for a certain purpose and will dispose of it.

My Generalist Work setup is my iPad Pro connected to a display. On the right of the screen I use @Astropad’s workbench to remotely access machines.

For Precision Work, I plug the top Mac mini, which is my computer.

There is no better person than @maayanalbert to solve this problem. Rapid prrototyping has lost its meaning in the vibe coding era by building full-blown applications before knowing what to build.

Its intention is to explore possibilities in the right fidelity. I know designers and researchers will love Proto.

I was shocked that 3/4s of designers work in coding agents rather than design tools. This is crazy?? Designers deserve a tool built for them, not just for developers.

When I started my career, I could count on one hand the number of Vietnamese Designers. Yesterday, while attending UXDX I found five (one not pictured)!

It’s a shame the way address me is a literal reminder of my elderly status. 😂

Excited to see them all thrive in this era.
