someone just borrowed $431K from @Loopscale with a $123 tokenView quoted post on X
here's how:
> bought 1 kySOL (~$123)
> deposited it labelled as zBTC
> Loopscale priced it as bitcoin, but read it with 8 decimals instead of 9
> so 1 kySOL counted as 10 BTC (~$777K of collateral)
> borrowed 4,597 SOL against it
> never repaid, funds bridged to Ethereum
~8% of the vault, gone in one transaction
4 days later Loopscale statement says vaults have been made whole

π¨NEW: @Binance says attackers used fake job interviews, malware and a compromised internal AI tool to access its wallet signing service in the $6.34B hack.View quoted post on X

Ethereum EIP-7702 authorizations allowed further theft despite withdrawals being suspended, while Binanceβs MPC setup complicated revoking access.
