✝️WE MUST BE THE ONES WHO CHANGE✝️
When there are difficulties in culture, politics, and your personal life, the answer for the Christian is not "prayer changes things." Oh, you should pray. And you should seek God with all your heart and ask Him to help you. But the purpose for that effort is you confirming your ways to His righteousness, not the other way around. Nations stand and fall when judged by His perfect judgment based in His perfect, holy character. The politics and the culture are a reflection upon us, not upon Him who sees all things.
1 Peter 1:13-16 (NASB)
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 (NASB)
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
