In the absence of CNS irAEs I have not previously thought much about it. I think most of us under appreciate the cardiac and neuro consequences of long term inflammation from IO. Agree we should focus more on this.

@CPRT65 Camillo Porta and @sophiemerrick1 for great PRO work and discussion of IO AEs and potential long term side effects.
The possibility of persistent worsening “neurocognitive function” must now be discussed with patients who are engaging with adjuvant IO. ESMO26

Agree—this is looking quite promising for a new approach to this disease. Excited for future results. Promising for both this particular drug as well as the technology platform for other variants: different targets etc.

Well well well…

This was certainly my favorite RCC / kidney cancer presentation and heralding a significant shift in the RCC landscape!

45% response in heavily pretreated pts. Highly impressive!

Needs to move into frontline combinations! Congrats @montypal + colleagues

Interesting. Wonder how much the tox was just SBRT vs the interaction given lack of higher tox signal in many other IO-XRT studies (albeit smallish sample sizes)?

1/n Our Ph2 trial of Atezolizumab added to SOC prostate-directed SBRT + ADT/ARPI in de novo metastatic prostate cancer. TL;DR: we found unacceptable, synergistic toxicities attributable to the combination of SBRT (CT guided, 7.5-8 Gy x 5, QOD; daily CBCT with intra-fraction monitoring for most) and IO: sigmoid colon perforations x 2. There were no significant improvements in tumor control end-points compared to historical controls within the group as a whole. #radonc #pcsm
