As Florida observes Victims of Communism Day, we honor their sacrifices by making sure their stories are known, told and never forgotten.

Standing in @MDCollege’s Freedom Tower for the Pedro Pan Gala, surrounded by those who found freedom in America and the generations who carry their stories forward, is deeply personal. My parents came through these doors, too.

At Democracy’s College, we see these journeys reflected in our students and their families every day. They remind us why freedom matters and why we must never take it for granted.
