🌍412,000 people directly at risk of radicalisation. 22 countries. 70 active programmes.

Returnees rebuilding their lives. Youth choosing opportunity over violence. Communities resolving conflicts through dialogue.

That's community-led prevention in 2025.

The evidence is clear that it works. The question is whether its scale will ever match the scale of the threat.

💐We are grateful to @EU_FPI for its support in making this report possible. To our donors, partners, civil society organisations, and the communities on the frontlines - thank you for your support and commitment.

❓How should support for children returnees evolve as they grow into adolescence?

💡We explored this question during the latest meeting of the Global Action Platform Working Group on Rehabilitation and Reintegration (R&R), bringing together 40 participants for an important exchange on children's mental health, parental trauma, and the role of family-based support.

The meeting was co-chaired by Diadora Cërmjani, Clinical Psychologist and Project Manager at the Institute of Psychology, @Rektorati, Kosovo.

We were honoured to welcome three speakers who brought valuable perspectives and experiences from their respective contexts:

🔹Jeyana Ahmed, Program Manager, Salam for Hope Foundation, Syria
🔹Prof. Dr. Aliriza Arënliu, Full Professor of Psychology, Founder and Director of the Instituti i Psikologjisë, @Rektorati, Kosovo
🔹Iftikhor Karimov, Project Coordinator, Refugees, Children and Vulnerable Citizens (RCVC), Tajikistan

💐 A heartfelt thank you to our co-chair, speakers, and participants for contributing to this important discussion on children's mental health and the role of family support in fostering community resilience.

💬 “Everyone in this room holds a piece of the answer. But no one holds the whole answer.”

This week in Accra, around 80 participants from #government, #security institutions, #communities, #civil society, artisanal #miners, #financial actors and industry came together for our Regional Community of Practice (#RCOP), “The Resilience Revolution in West Africa.”

The message was clear: resilience cannot be built by one institution or sector alone. It takes partnership, community #ownership and coordinated #action.
