For me, THIS is what gives advocacy its power.

We aren’t simply asking for Research Funding. We are showing what that Research can mean in someone’s life: Another treatment option, Another clinical trial, Another chance, Another tomorrow.

There is incredible science happening in kidney cancer. Our job is to make sure it has the resources, collaboration and urgency needed to keep moving forward.

Today wasn’t about numbers on a page. It was about what those numbers can make possible.

I’m still here because years before I needed them, researchers had the resources to pursue an idea, and patients were willing to take a chance on a clinical trial.

Research gave me another option when I needed one. And those options gave me time. Now we need to make sure the next patient has that same chance.

The science is moving. We cannot allow the funding to fall behind.

Senators @SenWarren & @SenMarkey: Massachusetts has an incredible kidney cancer research community, and patients across the country are counting on continued federal investment.

Please help us protect that progress and keep kidney cancer research moving forward.
