Governor-elect Alan Wilson is set to do something that no South Carolina governor has had to do since Mark Sanford in 2005:

Work alongside a Democratic Senator.

We ask him how he anticipates working with @AnnieAndrewsMD after their election night wins.

“It looked good on paper, but didn’t really feel good in practice.”

We talk with South Carolina’s Governor-elect @AGAlanWilson on how he plans to navigate a State House where Republicans have now lost the supermajority.

“I’m excited for people to hold my feet to the fire.”

South Carolina Senator-elect @AnnieAndrewsMD on her message to Republican voters who split their ticket on election night and voted for her.

We also ask about a possible Trump impeachment.

Just wrapped up with @AnnieAndrewsMD for her first sit-down interview as Senator-elect.

She says @DarlineGrahamSC was gracious over the phone last night.

Andrews added Graham also offered to meet and help with transitioning some of the constituent cases they were working on.

Senator-elect Annie Andrews says she has spoken with Sen. Tim Scott.

They spoke earlier today. She says, “There’s a lot we don’t agree on… but we look forward to working together because we both love South Carolina.”

She also says they have plans to meet next week.
