I’m truly grateful to be only the third Member of Congress to receive the Air Traffic Control Association’s Glen A. Gilbert Memorial Award. Aviation is a passion of mine and something I’ve worked tirelessly to strengthen, so this award is incredibly humbling. Named after one of the fathers of the U.S. air traffic control system, the award is on permanent display in the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum, and I’m thrilled to have my name added to it. Thank you to @ATCA_now for this incredible honor!

25 years. It’s hard to believe it’s been a quarter century since families lost loved ones, heroes ran towards danger and service members answered the call.
While many of us remember it like it was yesterday, there are now many others who only read about it in the history books.
On this September 11th, we honor the victims, the heroes and all who sacrificed.
Never forget.

If you can’t speak English, you shouldn’t be driving a semi on American roads. These fraudulent trucking schools have got to go. @TransportGOP took action with Dalilah’s Law earlier this year to strengthen CDL requirements and it’s great to see @SecDuffy getting rid of the fraudsters.

✅ 110 trucking schools shut down (5,000+ truckers “trained” who could not speak English)
✅ 160+ more removed for failing @FMCSA standards ✅ Nationwide audit of skill testers launched
NO ENGLISH, NO TRUCKING, NO FRAUD.
We’re not done yet. Let’s make sure our roads are safe because AMERICA deserves that 🇺🇸 @SecMullinDHS @USDOT @DHSgov @TheJusticeDept @WHFraudTF
Our warfighters at Whiteman Air Force Base do incredible work. This is great news for the 442nd Fighter Wing, and our entire state.

Praying for the families of our fallen service members, for the safe return of the missing service member, and for the full recovery of those who were injured. Our military men and women continue to selflessly answer the call with courage and bravery and I am grateful.
CENTCOM Statement on Recently Fallen, Missing U.S. Service MembersView quoted post on X
TAMPA, Fla. — On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing.
Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.
Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.
