Time for leadership that rejects corporate PAC money and puts people first.

After tonight Democrats are gonna need a New Deal. We have a generational opportunity that the current party leadership will squander. The folks that nearly flipped Florida, the voters, have spoken loudly and clearly like the rest of the country. Time for new leadership.

.@SenMikeLee has taken ~$250,000 from the fossil fuel lobby and was the key architect to kill solar and wind energy tax credits in the OBBBA.

He can’t be trusted, when Big Tech is racing to build AI-data centers and power it with fossil fuels.

Note to Dem Senators being jammed to support this flawed bill: many of the worst parts of BAAJA are there because of ONE PERSON. It's not Trump, or Steven Miller. It's Mike Lee who temporarily wields tremendous power. Voters just took his power away. Don't give it back to him. Let our coming Dem Majority finish the job here. We'll get a much less toxic deal - and maybe even a very good deal.

.@SenSchumer never endorsed @ZohranKMamdani. Zohran drove Democrats to prioritize affordability, corporate accountability, and anti-oligarch messaging.

He isn’t fit to lead when Democrats have a strong mandate on AI and fossil fuels.

.@DNCClimate comes out against BAAJA.
DNC Environment and Climate Council Verified account @DNCClimate 12h
The DNC Council on the Environment and Climate Crisis firmly opposes the so-called “Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act” (BAAJA). Action is urgent: the Senate votes November 9 on whether to begin debate on this bill — and we can stop it right there.

This wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing bill actually rolls back the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and NEPA. AND it fast-tracks gas pipelines, mining, and data centers, and restricts Tribal sovereignty over sacred lands and clean water.

Yes, permitting reform is needed. But this is not it.

Act Now: Call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and tell your Senators to oppose BAAJA.
